Trading Restriction Investigation: Swigart Law team has been retained by the Robinhood app users.

By: Joshua B. Swigart

Millions of people trading with the Robinhood app may receive monetary compensation from the company after it deprived its investors of the ability to invest in the open stock market.

What happened:

Robinhood is an online brokerage firm. It permits its customers to purchase and sell securities by using a web-based application.

A recently filed lawsuit alleges Robinhood purposefully removed the stock “GME” from its trading platform in the midst of an unprecedented stock rise depriving its customers of the ability to invest in it. Robinhood has further restricted its customers’ ability to buy shares of a number of other popular companies.

By creating these restrictions, Robinhood deprived millions of people of the ability to invest in the open-market. This is unacceptable and the company needs to be held accountable.

How to take action now:

If you trade with Robinhood, you may have a claim against the company.
