With over two decades of legal experience, Joshua B. Swigart brings an unparalleled depth of expertise to the practice of consumer protection law. Since opening his first law office in 2003, Mr. Swigart has been dedicated to representing individuals in California and nationwide, with a particular focus on class actions, privacy rights, and financial consumer protection.

A passionate advocate for access to justice, Mr. Swigart has provided substantial pro bono legal services to underserved individuals across Southern California and has donated significant funds to legal aid organizations and law schools through Cypress Awards and other philanthropic efforts.

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Mr. Swigart earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of California at Riverside, with a double emphasis in Accounting and Finance. He went on to attend California Western School of Law on an academic scholarship, graduating cum laude.

Rahil Swigart is a seasoned attorney with nearly 20 years of litigation experience dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals and consumers. At Swigart Law Group, she focuses her practice on representing people harmed by unlawful business practices, privacy violations, identity theft, and financial misconduct.

Ms. Swigart has built a career rooted in advocacy for the underrepresented — fighting for clients who have been taken advantage of by companies, financial institutions, and bad actors. Her litigation practice includes:

Jayson Swigart is a litigation attorney at Swigart Law Group with a focus on mass torts, environmental disaster claims, and large-scale complex litigation. He is part of the firm’s leadership in representing victims of catastrophic wildfires, including those impacted by the 2020 Oregon Labor Day Wildfires and the Marshall Fire near Boulder, Colorado.

Mr. Swigart advocates for individuals, families, and property owners who have suffered devastating losses due to the negligence of utility companies and other responsible entities. He is actively involved in ongoing litigation arising from wildfire disasters, where he works to ensure that survivors receive meaningful compensation and justice.

His work includes investigating liability, navigating multi-jurisdictional discovery, and coordinating with co-counsel in complex, high-volume dockets. Mr. Swigart is committed to restoring the lives and livelihoods of those displaced or harmed by corporate misconduct and environmental failure.

Mr. Swigart earned his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he served as President of the Student Bar Association, and was active in Moot Court, ADR, and the Epsten, Grinnell & Howell APC Trial Advocacy Program. He also held executive board positions in ALSA, APALSA, and PILF.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Riverside, where he was a Division I athlete on the university’s inaugural Track & Field and Cross Country teams.

-Spencer Pfeiff

Spencer Pfeiff is a California-based attorney whose practice centers on complex consumer litigation, with a particular focus on invasion of privacy claims, credit reporting violations, and mass arbitration proceedings. At Swigart Law Group, Mr. Pfeiff represents individuals whose personal data and financial rights have been compromised by corporate misconduct — often at scale.

Mr. Pfeiff is actively involved in litigating claims under the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), statutes designed to protect consumers from unlawful surveillance, data misuse, and inaccurate or unauthorized credit reporting. He is particularly experienced in managing claims through mass arbitration, a growing avenue for enforcing consumer rights when large companies include arbitration clauses in their terms of service.

Mr. Pfeiff litigates in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration forums, and is known for his thorough case analysis, strategic advocacy, and client-centered approach.

A native of California’s Central Valley, Mr. Pfeiff earned his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton in 2017. He went on to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2021. While in law school, Mr. Pfeiff was a distinguished member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society, represented the school in the ABA Client Counseling Competition, and earned eight CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for top academic performance.

Mr. Pfeiff is licensed to practice law in California, and is dedicated to holding companies accountable when they violate consumer privacy and credit rights.

-Angelique Vasquez

Attorney | Privacy & Mass Arbitration Litigation

Angelique Vasquez is a litigation attorney at Swigart Law Group with a focused practice in mass arbitration and privacy enforcement, representing consumers whose rights have been violated by corporate surveillance, data misuse, and unlawful tracking practices.

Ms. Vasquez plays a key role in the firm’s California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA) practice group and has successfully brought claims on behalf of consumers alleging the illegal use of website pixel technologies. She recently obtained a landmark arbitration award in a CIPA matter — a precedent-setting decision holding a corporate defendant liable for unlawfully intercepting user data via embedded spyware on its website. Her work has helped establish that arbitration is a viable and powerful forum for enforcing consumer privacy rights in the digital age.

Ms. Vasquez’s experience navigating both domestic and international legal systems gives her a unique and strategic edge in complex privacy and technology-related disputes. She is at the forefront of using mass arbitration to challenge systemic privacy violations, particularly those involving large-scale data collection and pixel tracking.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Ms. Vasquez earned her law degree in 2008 and completed her articles of clerkship at Legal Aid South Africa, where she provided legal services to underserved communities. She was formally admitted as an attorney in the Western Cape High Court in 2012 and co-founded a law firm that continues to operate today.

After relocating to San Diego, California in 2016, she gained valuable insight into the U.S. judicial system while serving as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Allison H. Goddard of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

Noah Larsh

Attorney | Consumer Financial Protection & Complex Litigation

Noah Larsh is an attorney at Swigart Law Group who focuses his practice on consumer protection, complex litigation, and enforcing the rights of individuals under federal and California consumer statutes. He plays a key role in the firm’s litigation efforts involving unauthorized banking transactions, digital fraud, and unlawful practices by financial institutions.

Mr. Larsh concentrates heavily on claims brought under the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA), representing consumers who have experienced unauthorized withdrawals, delayed investigations, or denied refunds stemming from fraudulent electronic transfers. Mr. Larsh earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he graduated with distinction. While in law school, he developed a strong interest in financial privacy and regulatory enforcement, which now anchors his consumer-focused practice.

He is admitted to the State Bar of California and is passionate about holding financial entities accountable when they fail to protect consumers from fraud and abuse.

Jessica Pfeiff

Attorney | Consumer Privacy & Data Protection Litigation

Jessica Pfeiff is a litigation attorney at Swigart Law Group, where she devotes her practice to consumer privacy law, data breach litigation, and credit reporting enforcement. Her work focuses on holding corporations accountable when they misuse, mishandle, or unlawfully collect consumers’ personal and financial information.

Ms. Pfeiff regularly represents clients in cases brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), ensuring that credit bureaus and furnishers comply with their legal obligations to maintain accurate consumer data and promptly investigate disputes. Ilana Platkiewicz

Attorney | Electronic Funds Transfer Act & Consumer Protection

Ilana Platkiewicz is a bilingual, internationally licensed attorney at Swigart Law Group who focuses her practice on protecting consumers from unauthorized electronic banking activity and financial misconduct. Her primary area of litigation centers around the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA), where she represents individuals who have experienced fraudulent withdrawals, bank errors, and illegal denials of reimbursement by financial institutions.

Ms. Platkiewicz advises clients on their rights under federal law when banks and payment processors fail to conduct timely investigations or refuse to credit accounts after unauthorized transfers. Her work includes both individual and high-volume consumer claims, and she is known for her meticulous attention to regulatory detail and client advocacy.

Katherine Tuohy

-Jacob Ainciart

  • Jacob Ainciart (Jake) is Of Counsel at Swigart Law Group in the Wildfire Litigation section of the firm. Jake joins SLG after working on several high-profile cases against large utility companies who have caused fires throughout California, where has has represented over 1,000 individuals. Jake works closely with clients to ensure that their case values are maximized and they are fully informed of the progress of their cases. Jake attended Americans University Washington College of Law and Kogod School of Business where attained his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration, respectively. Jake lives in Santa Barbara, CA where he enjoys cooking, gardening, spearfishing, playing music and spending time with his dog, Kona. Jake is on the board of Directors for the Santa Barbara Young Professionals Club and volunteers through the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Mentor Program.

  • Laila Khosroabadi has been an avid litigator since 2003. Her experience includes, construction law, business litigation, civil rights, toxic torts, and consumer rights litigation. Ms. Khosroabadi’s experience includes the representations of large corporations as well as individuals. Ms. Khosroabadi appreciates that litigation can be stressful and focuses on obtaining a swift resolution through mediation. However, she is always willing to go to trial to obtain the best results for her clients.

  • Loveleen Bajwa was born in San Diego, California. She graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Law & Society. During her time as an undergraduate, Loveleen was a member of the Panhellenic sorority Pi Beta Phi where she served as the committee chair for Policy and Standards Board in 2016 and the committee chair for Leadership and Nominating Committee in 2017. Loveleen also served as a co-captain for UC Riyaazat, a Bollywood fusion dance team.

    Loveleen attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego and graduated in 2021. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of Thomas Jefferson Law Review and was published in the journal in 2022. She served on the Student Bar Association and 4eas the American Bar Association representative in 2021.

  • Ivette Hernandez was born and raised in Las Vegas where she graduated high school and pursued higher education. She has been part of numerous events and food drives giving back to her community. She has participated in mock trials in Washington D.C. and has been active in the Future Latino Leaders Law Camp Program since 2014. Ivette has been building her career in the legal field for over 7 years. She has experience in handling and assisting with car accidents, injury law, family law, estate, and now stepping into digital privacy and consumer protection law. She is passionate about putting her knowledge and skills to use to help bring the best possible outcome to each client.
